  1. Susan Allen……………it’s the old Augsburg voice of Bonnie Wallace letting you know what a pleasant and powerful surprise this is. Congratulations many times over. I hope you don’t mind but I sent your announcement on to the Quarterly Magazine at Augsburg called the “NOW” and an email to the President. I’m now a Regent and can’t tell you proud of you I am……….I tell you, I’m bursting at the seams….probably in more ways that I care to admit now that I’m nearing retirement. I’ve been the back on my reservation, Fond du Lac, for l5 years now and work for the band as their Scholarship Director so I’m still kind of doing the same kind of work I did during my almost 20 years at Augsburg. I’m so pleased to read of all the wonderful volunteer work you do. I definitely want to make a donation to your campaign but I am very limited in my computer skills so where can I just send a check? Best wishes and best of luck on your new adventure.

  2. I just read the letter Daniel Yang wrote about you, and I feel compelled and inspired to volunteer with your campaign. I’m a working mom in Powderhorn, who works in Phillips, but could easily do some door-knocking or other volunteering on the weekends or AM weekdays. Please let me know what you need help with.

  3. Hey, just wanted to let you know my address has changed from the last delegate list. I moved just about a block away:
    Amy Brockman
    3212 15th Ave S
    Minneapolis, MN 55407

Will all of you running for 61B please line up a debate before the actual endorsing convention? It would be helpful for me to hear all of you together! Thanks!

  4. Miigwech Susan for running. I am not in your district. I wish I was so I could have the privilege of voting for you. I am Native (Ojibwe/Odawa) and a independent progressive politically. I am also in recovery. In addition I also teach American Indian Studies and Education courses at Augsburg College. This coming spring semester I am teaching a course entitled American Indian Women. I would love to have you come and speak to my students about your journey into politics as an American Indian women. We can pay you a small honorarium. We will be meeting every weds. evening 6-9 starting in January. You can take as little or as much time as you would like. I look forward to hearing from you.
